In 2024, we led both creative direction and marketing strategy for the event. Our expanded role helped Bangor Pride reach more attendees than ever while securing sponsorships and significant in-kind support… without spending a dollar on paid promotion.
The community loved the design work from the previous year. Bangor Pride needed stronger visibility and a coordinated visual presence across touchpoints.
The committee wanted designs that were more accessible while still celebrating the spirit of Pride.
This challenge helped us identify the need for a designated website.
FULL OF IT developed the theme to align community partners, and social media and partnership plans that amplified reach without paid advertising.
Leveraging previously created brand assets allowed additional opportunities for in-kind donations for merchandise, poster printing, digital promotions, and event materials.
The visual design was based off of 70s-inspired floral motif based on the pride flags and high-contrast messaging. The florals were reused across printed posters, buttons, and community artwork.
The 2024 production included a full Pride Guide featuring printed maps and event information, large-scale banners, and event t-shirts.
A custom sticker sheet was also produced and distributed to the community. The visual system and marketing approach gave Bangor Pride a stronger, more professional presence while remaining deeply community-driven.
The event drew an estimated 8,000 attendees. More than $7,000 in sponsorships and substantial in-kind donations were secured to cover event costs.
